About us

Background

EZ Embassy was incorporated in 2009 with one goal in mind: help smart BtoB webservices take advantage of the huge potential of the European market.  With 500 million inhabitants, one of the highest GDP per capita and 65% of the homes connected to the internet mostly in broadband, Europe offers a fantastic opportunity for any web business.

But with 27 different countries, 23 different languages, multiple national and pan-European regulations and national or regional web champions, it's often difficult or expensive to launch a profitable business in the region without local guidance.

That's where we come about.  We are your one stop shop in Europe.

From 2003 to 2009, EZ Embassy's 4 co-founders have helped Six Apart, a US-based leading player in the blogging industry, grow its business across western Europe.  Today, capitalizing on this experience, not only do we maintain, market, distribute and support Six Apart's TypePad webservice in the region, we are also able to provide our expertise and wide network of providers to other clients.

Our focus and our energy is where our expertise lies: helping foreign based BtoB webservices, particularly those targeting the media industry and/or SMBs, to launch and grow their service in Europe.

Office

We are located in the heart of Paris, 30 minutes away from one of Europe's most connected Airport (Roissy Charles de Gaulle). But our business partners are of course scattered in Europe's main capital cities.

Management

Olivier initially gained rich experience in sales and marketing at Danone & Pepsico prior to joining BBDO Paris' web agency (B2L) in 1996. Under his general management the agency rapidly grew from ten to over a hundred employees. He then went on to co-manage DDB Paris' web agency (Tribal DDB). In 2003, he co-founded Ublog, a French blogging service acquired by Six Apart in 2004. Olivier joined Six Apart as the Business Development Manager for EMEA in 2004 and stepped up as General Manager and VP Europe in March 2007. Olivier received a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of South Dakota and is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
